Hebat : Alphard, Mercedez dan Porsche dilarikan dari bilik pameran

AMPANG: Three men clad in ski masks and armed with parangs and pistols stormed a luxury car showroom and stole three cars from the premise in Pandan Indah on Saturday.

The four suspects had arrived in a car and stopped in front of the premise at about 9pm. Three of them got out and then attacked two of the showroom’s workers.

Selangor police chief DCP Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar said the three stolen vehicles are a Toyota Alphard multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), a Mercedez Benz and a Porsche.

“Two of the cars were not registered with the Road Transport Department (RTD) and we are still tracing all three vehicles.” Khalid said police have taken the CCTV footage from the premise to be analysed and the suspects are believed to local.

“No gunshot was released and we have doubts whether the gun is real, but we consider the suspects to be dangerous."

Khalid also expressed regret the showroom operator had not exercised extra caution by putting extra locks for the cars on display. “They took it for granted. This is the matter of security and they are supposed to exercise care to prevent this from happening." - the malay mail
