Sodomy II: Doctor agrees with evidence of penetration
KUALA LUMPUR: The doctor who examined key witness Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan could not find injuries or trauma in his rectal area, the sodomy trial of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was told.
Dr Mohd Razali Ibrahim was on duty at Kuala Lumpur Hospital at 7pm on June 28, 2008 when he received Saiful at the emergency unit.
However, based on the chemist report produced in court, the doctor agreed with the prosecution that there was enough evidence of penetration eventhough there were no injuries.
The report also stated that swabs taken from Saiful's rectal area contained semen.
The trial was adjourned to Friday to allow the defence to study the witness' testimony. - theStar
