Iklan pewangi Beyonce - Pihak berkuasa iklan TV UK kata HOT - agak2 kalau kat Malaysia lepas tak?

LOS ANGELES, Nov 20 – US recording artist Beyoncé’s sultry ad for her new Heat fragrance is too sexy for UK daytime TV, according to an announcement by the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) on November 18.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the ad has been moved to only airing after 7.30pm.

The clip shows Beyoncé (picture) lounging in a bathtub and slipping into a low-cut red dress. “We considered that Beyoncé’s body movements and the camera’s prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away to partially expose her breasts created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by young children,” the ASA said in an annoucement.

Beyoncé Knowles is one of the most honoured artists by the Grammy Awards, and third among female artists, with 16 awards – 13 as a solo artist and three as a member of Destiny’s Child. She ranks as one of Forbes’ most powerful celebrities, with earnings of US$87 million (RM270.83 million) last year thanks to her growing entertainment and fashion empire.

Other celebrities with their own signature scents include Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian. Taylor Swift also promises to release a new fragrance next year.

Heat, billed as an “overtly sexy fragrance,” was originally released in the US last February. In February 2011, Knowles will unveil a sister scent, Heat Rush, which is intended to be more of a daytime fragrance - TMI
