PETALING JAYA: Six policemen, including two inspectors, were arrested after they allegedly carted away RM12,000 in cash and eletcronic appliances from a house in Puchong Indah here.
Sources told FMT that the house was being rented by a foreigner.
The six policemen, from the Subang Jaya district headquarters, had stopped the foreigner's car in Puchong Indah last Thursday.
The foreigner, who suspected that the plainclothes policemen were robbers, had ditched his car and fled on foot.
"The policemen then found the man's house keys after rummaging through his car and subsequently went to the man's house," said the source.
"They then left with cash and eletronic appliances worth around RM12,000,” he added.
When the foreigner returned and found his house ransacked, he lodged a police report which led to the arrest of the six.
The six policemen, who are from the commercial crimes department, had since been released on police bail pending investigations.
However, senior police officers, including Selangor CID chief SAC II Mohd Adnan Abdullah, had denied that such an incident happened.
Mohd Adnan said he had yet to be informed of such a case - FMT
MS: Aku tak nak kata apa-apa lagi la sebab Ketua CID sendiri dah nafikan ... mana ada polis nak pi merompak, pembohong lah ... hahaha. cepat jer dia nafikan. Ini lah sikap polis dalam pentadbiran BN dari dulu sampai sekarang. Kalau sebelah depa semua betul, semua baik, seolah-olah polis ni teramat baik, tembak orang pun masih baik lagi.
So tentang 6 makhluk diatas yang ditangkap tu, kalau ya depa buat, memang HARAMJADAH la, ... tapi sebenarnya memang dah lama orang ramai terutama di pihak pembangkang MEMBENCI perangai polis ...
