NGO ni nak pi buat repot polis hari-hari ... hahaha larat ker tu

MS : Hahaha kalau pasal buat laporan polis ni, semua orang dah kenal PEKASAm.

Karpal lodges police report on Zaki's statement - malaysiakini

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 13 - Bukit Gelugor MP Karpal Singh today lodged a police report on the statement made by Chief Justice Tan Sri Zaki Tun Azmi that Zaki had bribed court staff during his days as a lawyer.
He lodged the report at the Dang Wangi police station at 3pm. He said that Zaki's statement, which was reported in the New Straits Times on Nov 8, exposed him to prosecution under section 4(b) of the Prevention of Corruption Act 1961.
However, Zaki had clarified that he had never in his life bribed or received any bribe.
Karpal Singh said he would bring the case to the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA). - Bernama

Karpal Singh will lodge police report against CJ - malaysiakini

By Debra Chong
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 - Unhappy with his failure to have the matter debated in Parliament Bukit Gelugor MP Karpal Singh said today he will lodge a police report against the Chief Justice for alleged involvement in the corruption of court officials.
He told reporters he would be doing so at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters near Stadium Merdeka at 3pm tomorrow.
"I have no alternative. I thought I could do it in Parliament first but the Speaker has thrown it out," the lawyer said.
Today, the Dewan Rakyat Speaker dismissed for the second time the DAP's emergency parliamentary motion to open investigations into Chief JusticeTan Sri Zaki Azmi's expose last week of judicial corruption.
The emergency motion, which was first filed on Monday, was initially rejected on grounds that it had been filed late and there were other motions.
Referring to a newspaper report published last Saturday, Karpal pointed out that Zaki had openly admitted to being aware of the corrupt practices of court officials at the registry while he was a practising lawyer.
The newspaper carried a clarification the following day, which quoted Zaki as saying: "Your reporter must have interpreted what I said, which is that during that period there was corruption in order to get things done at the court registry, as I myself having done it. I have never in my life bribed or received any bribe."
The amendment failed to placate Karpal. If anything, he said it made Zaki's actions even worse.
"Even this correction, if at all it is to be believed, renders Tan Sri Zaki a person unfit to be Chief Justice as he was morally obliged to lodge a report against the corrupt court officials.
"I am not questioning his conduct as Chief Justice, but his conduct as a lawyer way back in 1987," he emphasised.
Today, Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia rejected the DAP motion on grounds that matters pertaining to the conduct of judges cannot be discussed in Parliament unless it was a private bill as stated under Rule 36(8) of the Standing Orders, or unless it obtained a quarter of votes from members in the House under Section 127 of the Federal Constitution. -- TMI

OPPOSITION GROUP ALLEGES CORRUPTION IN REPORT AGAINST NAJIB - malaysiakini

By Debra Chong
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 – PKR Youth leader Badrul Hisham Shaharin led a group of five people in lodging a police report today against Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak for corruption.

The group claimed they provided the police with evidence in connection with a number of deals to procure military equipment while Najib was Defence Minister.

Najib has been at the brunt of a series of allegations since he became the front-runner to succeed Datuk Seri Abdullah Badawi as Umno president and Prime Minister.

Allegations of impropriety have surfaced over the proposed acquisition of Eurocopter helicopters for RM2.3 billion and the RM4.6 billion Scorpene submarines deal.

The group which made the police report today calls itself the Sekretariat Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM).

They claimed to have supplied police with 21-pages of evidence implicating the DPM, including documents proving the authenticity of several text messages between Najib and lawyer Datuk Shafee Abdullah.
A series of text messages, which purportedly implies the deputy prime minister had interfered in the police investigations into the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu in 2006, was published recently in jailed blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin's Malaysia Today website.
Shafee was then acting for Abdul Razak Baginda, Najib's close associate who was subsequently charged for abetting in the murder.

Today, SAMM demanded that police reopen the investigations on Najib's alleged involvement with the murdered victim to show whether he had abused his position and power.

"We filed the report so that the proper procedures can begin," said Badrul, the spokesman for SAMM. "Otherwise, the police will say 'without an official complaint, we cannot start official procedures'."

"We just want to help the police with their investigations. We are providing them some supplementary documents to give them a head start."

The other four, who co-lodged the report at the Dang Wangi district police station here, are Aiman Athirah Al Junaidi, the information chief for national Pas Muslimat; president of Gerak Ramlan Abu Bakar, blogger Amin Iskandar and Wan Anis Adnan. -- MI
